Making a difference to the lives of our customers each and every day.As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing the buying of consumables for the Cromwell Hospital across a wide supplier base. This is a senior commercial role that will provide expertise to focus on strategic sourcing and value delivery whilst managing supplier relationships.How You’ll Help Us Make Health HappenYou will be responsible for the hospitals consumable expenditure to ensure products and services are sourced competitively and cost effectivelyBe accountable for identifying and delivering multiple cost saving initiatives.Work closely with clinical stakeholders to understand their needs and mange relationships with key suppliersCreate reports identifying key commercial KPIs and create solutions to address under performanceNegotiate with and manage the supplier base with a clear strategy and improvement of termsDeliver projects and trials with across wider teams for new initiativesRemedy any supplier issues and maintain personal integrity when dealing with commercial confidentiality and conductKey Skills / Qualifications Needed For This RoleExperience of this role within a medical/clinical setting is highly desirableExcellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate with teams of all levels is essentialCIPS qualifiedProven ability and experience of delivering savings through driving strategic planningExperienced negotiator who is proficient at drawing upon and developing fact based negotiation plans and operating at a senior levelContract and supplier relationship management expertise is essentialBenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
