Homes for Support is proud to announce the launch of our fostering agency, a vital new service aimed at providing children and young people with safe, nurturing, and homely environments. We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager/Supervising Social Worker to lead this exciting new venture and impact young lives. As Registered Manager/Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fostering service, ensuring full compliance with fostering regulations and national standards. Providing supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers, equipping them with the skills and resources to provide outstanding care. Conducting regular assessments and reviews of foster carers and placements to secure the best outcomes for children and young people. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the fostering service. Collaborating with external agencies, including local authorities, health services, and education providers, ensures a coordinated and holistic approach to care. Managing and supporting a team of social workers, providing regular supervision, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Maintaining accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting in line with regulatory requirements. To be considered for the role, will be: A qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work. Registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England). Experienced in a supervisory or managerial role within a fostering or social care setting. Knowledgeable in fostering regulations, standards, and best practices. A strong leader with excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Passionate about creating and maintaining safe, loving, and stable homes for children and young people.
