Salary Grade 5, £25,583 to £25,992 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £22,125.84 to £22,479.57)

Location HMP Isle of Wight, Newport, Isle of Wight

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team who deliver care and support to people staying at HM Prison Isle of Wight.

You will play a key role in supporting to deliver a high-quality service, which has a person-centred approach and actively supports and maximises people’s independence. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a good understanding of working in a domiciliary setting providing double handed care and support to people who have care and support needs.

This is a very rewarding role and is ideally suited to both who are experienced and those who are new to the caring sector.

As part of a new and enthusiastic team, you will benefit from shift-based pay, rather than contact time and guaranteed hours per week plus overtime.

You will be working on a shift basis, at HMP IOW in Newport, Isle of Wight.

To undertake this role, you will be required to hold a full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
