About the Role We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant Dyslexia Specialist to play a critical role in supporting students with dyslexia and specific learning difficulties.
Working 16 hours per week, you will provide tailored literacy and study-skills support through one-to-one sessions and in-class collaboration.
Key responsibilities include: Performing dyslexia screening and interpreting assessment reports to inform tailored support strategies.
Delivering focused interventions to boost literacy and study skills across all curriculum areas, either one-to-one or in small groups.
Monitoring, recording, and reporting on student progress.
Engaging with parents and guardians to communicate student development.
Ideal candidates: OCR Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia (or equivalent qualification), or qualified by significant relevant experience .
Proven track record of working with students with dyslexia.
