Working in one of the most progressive Accountancy Practices based in Swansea! This role offers unrivalled progression and would be great for someone who has at least two years working in a Practice environment.
Your new role
1. Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from books and records maintained by the client.
2. Prepare accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements.
3. Check the workpleted, produce review points for junior staff, monitor clearance of queries to ensure it is presentational and technically correct.
4. Calculate moreplex areas for sets of accountspleted by junior members of staff.
5. Prepare accounts from records and produce set of financial statements.
6. Produce a short summary on key client issues and the contents of the accounts before passing to the Partner/Director/Senior Manager/Manage
7. Adhere to proper accounting standards.
8. Meet deadlines and time budgets.
9. To assist clients to process financial information.
10. Provide advice and rmendations to clients in relation to financial reporting matters.
11. Develop and maintain good client relations.
12. Liaise with clients directly or through relevant manager to resolve queries or obtain further information.
What you'll need to succeed
13. 2+ years in an accounting firm
14. Working towards a qualification or fully qualified (salary will represent this)
15. Client focused
16. Two years + experience in an accounting practice.
17. Experience with demonstrable knowledge of producing year-end financial statements, management accounts andpleting VAT returns.
18. Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level, for the production of letters and spreadsheets.
19. Knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero preferred but not essential.
20. Excellentmunication skills both verbal and written.
21. Organised and methodical.
