We are seeking compassionate and dedicated DRIVER Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and those requiring specialised care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities. Responsibilities
* Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming for clients.
* Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
* Support clients with meal preparation and ensure they receive proper nutrition.
* Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
* Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
* Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings when necessary.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in care work, particularly in senior care or assisted living environments, is preferred.
* Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing home protocols is advantageous.
* Understanding of dementia care principles and best practices.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving clients safely.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
