For the successful Trainee Cathodic Protection Technician our client is offering:
1. Competitive rate paying between - £26,000 - £27,000 - Lots of progression opportunities!

3. Days based role 8:30am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays - 36.5 hours per week - Must be flexible to start / finish times

The Role - Trainee Cathodic Protection Technician:
9. Shadowing a Senior Engineer to fully understand the role
10. Carrying out site surveys and investigation
11. Writing up reports
12. Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting tests of existing protection systems
13. Project management
14. Collecting & reviewing data to determine condition of structures under evaluation
15. Involvement in installation projects
16. Travelling across the UK to customers, overseas travel maybe involved as the role develops in time
17. This role will involve travelling away during the week - But not on weekends
18. Commissioning activities
What our client is looking for in a Trainee Cathodic Protection Technician:
19. You must be willing to stay away from home as this will involve being away from home most weeks Monday to Thursday/Friday
20. Strong communication skills
21. Our client is looking for somebody with a Qualification in either - Mechanical Engineering / Electrical
22. Understanding of CAD software
23. Excellent attention to detail
24. Keen to learn, this position will be working closely with a more experienced Engineer
25. UK Driving Licence - Essential
26. Passport - Essential
