Position: Quality Technician Location: Sunderland Company: Autoscan UK Limited Pay Rate: £14.50 Per Hour (PAYE) Duration: Minimum 6 Months FTC Autoscan provides Quality Inspection, Containment & Quality Engineering Services to the Automotive, Off Highway, and all types of manufacturing industries and their supply chain. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Technician for an exciting new opportunity based in the Sunderland area of Tyne and Wear. The Quality Technician in this role will be responsible for first off / last off inspection confirmations and a basic level of auditing and part confirmation against internal QAIS standards. This will include visual assessment of parts in addition to some level of gloss/colour measurement as well as simple vernier inspection measurements. Quality concern updates will be managed via our bespoke concern management system, the Quality Technician will also update customer specific systems to demonstrate concern status and progress. Following on from the supplier discussions, the Quality Technician will be responsible for managing resolution of the quality issue, robust problem resolution actions and closure of the issue to 8D.
