Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Develop and execute creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
* Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
* Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food.
* Maintain effective communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
* Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff, fostering professional development.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
* Strong background in fine dining, banquet experience, or restaurant management preferred.
* Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Knowledge of food handling techniques, safety regulations, and best practices in food service management.
* Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and catering services is highly desirable.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creativity in food preparation and presentation.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
* Exceptional communication skills to interact with team members and guests professionally.
