The Requirements
* Degree qualified and Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.
* Extensive experience in major structural building projects.
* Proficient in design and analysis for building projects in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
* Proficient in 2D and 3D design software and be knowledgeable of design codes and standards.
* Skilled in site supervision and construction administration.
* Experienced in developing and leading a team.
* Strong client facing and winning work skills.
The Role
* Lead and assist the business development by securing projects through bidding and work-winning initiatives.
* Establish, build and nurture connections with existing and potential clients.
* Effective design and project management ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner and within budget.
* Manage and support technical development of Engineers.
* Review calculations, drawings, and specifications on projects.
* Develop and build the structural engineering team.
* Work closely with clients, decision makers, stakeholders and other consultants.
