Hi, I.m Amelia and i am 12 years old and have Downs Syndrome, although I am non-verbal, I have a bubbly, affectionate nature and can be cheeky at times. I communicate with sign language, some of these are my own but I also know some Britsih Sign Language. I have hypermobility issues which mean that I sometimes need to use a wheelchair when I am out. I am looking for a Personal Assistant that can help my mum and dad support me to let them have a break. I am looking for someone 6 hours per week term time and for 12 hours per week during school holidays. Ideally I would like someone to support me on a Saturday or Sunday for a few others and the others to be used flexibly during the week. I like to play computer games, jigsaws, going outdoors especially for a walk or to the beach or a farm as I love animals and movies. I sometimes like to help with gardening and doing small tasks around the house. the support that I need is :
