The Role
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the successful delivery of decommissioning projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget. Working closely with internal teams, clients and stakeholders, the role requires strong coordination, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing project scope, cost, schedules, risk and resources across decommissioning activities
Preparing and maintaining project plans, timelines and technical documentation
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Supporting the commercial team with bid preparation and identifying new opportunities
Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions where required
Ensuring compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations and legal requirements
Attending client meetings and supporting wider departmental activitiesRequirements
HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience (degree desirable)
Experience delivering engineering projects, ideally within decommissioning or a related environment
Strong understanding of project controls including budgets, scheduling and quality
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPackage
£50,000 - £55,000 salary
