Turbo Tyres is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team in a split-role position starting 1 February 2026.
This role combines full-time work as a Qualified Mechanic with part-time duties as a Mobile Tyre Fitter and Unit-Based Tyre Fitter, working alongside our established team.
Responsibilities
Mechanic:
Carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on vans
Perform routine maintenance and fault finding
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Maintain accurate service records
Work efficiently to meet deadlines
Tyre Fitter:
Carry out tyre fitting, repairs, and replacements
Provide mobile tyre services when required
Work within the unit alongside the team
Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications:
Fully qualified Mechanic (essential)
Proven experience working on vans
Experience in tyre fitting (preferred but training may be provided)
Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile work)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
