What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and developing mapping tools and data pipelines to support large-scale geospatial analysis across the North of England Collaborating with technical stakeholders at public authorities and vehicle manufacturers to understand and translate complex needs into elegant, usable software Building responsive, interactive web applications using React JS and Node JS Working with Python (Django or Flask), SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to handle data-heavy processes Creating and editing geospatial data using GIS tools such as Google Earth Pro, including drawing and manipulating polygons Operating in a hybrid setup – working from home with regular collaboration days in the Manchester or Huddersfield offices What We’re Looking For: A graduate with at least a 2:1 degree and 1 years’ experience in a relevant software role Strong understanding of Python, SQL, and either Django or Flask Hands on experience with React JS and Node JS Practical experience with geospatial data and GIS software – especially for visualisation and analysis Confident communicator – able to liaise directly with clients and technical stakeholders A curious mind with a genuine interest in AI, data, and complex problem-solving Comfortable working in a close-knit, collaborative environment with a start-up feel Why Join?
