On Track Education provides specialist education for young people with diverse and complex needs. Established in 2004 by a dedicated team of Special Educational Needs (SEN) teachers, we now operate eight independent schools across England. On Track Silverstone
On Track Silverstone is a 40 place school for pupils aged 11-16 offering Small group and individualised learning. With a strong focus on social and emotional development, the school adopts trusting, respectful relationships between staff and pupils, forming the foundation for meaningful progress. Its motivational and progressive curriculum is underpinned by the therapeutic principles of THRIVE, supporting each young person’s emotional wellbeing alongside academic achievement. It has extensive premises offering excellent facilities for academic, artistic, vocational and outdoor learning
The Role
You will play a key part in helping pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing support and supervision for pupils aged between 11-16, encouraging their engagement in the learning process and working towards agreed aims and objectives.
* Working with pupils 1-2-1 off the school site on intervention days
* Implementing strategies to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, developing an understanding of their Special Educational Needs.
* Working as part of a team to manage behaviour positively and in line with each pupil’s Behaviour Support Plan
* Providing specific support, dependent upon their individual needs, ensuring their safety whilst supporting access to learning activities.
* Delivering small sections of the learning programme to individual pupils, as directed by the teaching staff.

About you
We’re looking for a dedicated and creative educator with a genuine passion for working with young people. Ideally, you will:
* Have a passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties
Be dedicated to positive behaviour management
* Be resilient, flexible and adaptable to change
* A recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage but not essential
* Occasionally be required to work with pupils 1-2-1 on offsite intervention activities so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car
* Be part of a nationwide group of schools led by innovative, supportive professionals
* Work in a setting that combines a holistic approach to learning with a strong focus on emotional and social development
* Help make a lasting difference to the lives of young people who may have been educationally overlooked in traditional settings

Salary & Benefits
* £25,410 – £29,190 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Working Hours
Full-time: 8 hours per day Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 4.45pm, specific hours to be agreed upon offer
