Role Overview
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an Environmental Support to join our specialist environmental sustainability team.
With a passion for the environment and driven to make a difference, in this varied role you'll support sustainability initiatives and develop approaches to reduce environmental impacts.
This is a roam role, so you'll work at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We'll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
Provides specialist environmental advice and solutions to help us achieve net zero carbon commitments.
Supporting the implementation of strategic environmental projects that drive positive change and awareness throughout the business.
Create and deliver training and environmental engagement initiatives. You'll promote environmental awareness to enhance understanding of environmental management approaches.
Assist in the collection, documentation and analysis of carbon footprint data to maintain accurate measurement processes.
Support our approach to energy management through data capture, analysis and process development.
About You
Passionate and knowledgeable about environmental impacts and the broader climate change agenda. You may be an environmental graduate or have experience within an environmental role.
You'll have a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging environmental legislation to ensure compliance.
Experience of successfully coordinating and delivering operational environmental improvement projects.
Skilled in gathering data from multiple sources and diverse stakeholder groups.
Great influencing abilities to positively engage with stakeholders, customers and colleagues to drive change.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently deliver engaging training material to audiences.
