We're on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join our Head Office Finance Team at an extremely exciting time for our company and brand as we continue our journey of growth. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, and the role is based at our Head Office in Huddersfield. As an Accounts Assistant at Fazenda you will work autonomously as part of the Accounts Team and will be responsible for processing payments, updating financial records and managing invoices. This position is well suited to someone who is wanting to develop their skills within a finance department and must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role. Benefits of being an Accounts Assistant at Fazenda Up to 50% discount on food and drink when dining at any of our restaurants Working for an exciting, growing brand A supportive and inclusive leadership team who champions internal development Complimentary meal for two to celebrate your work anniversary About The Role of Accounts Assistant Maintaining a digital filing system of all financial documentation including contracts, invoices, and statements Managing daily emails and internal communications for the Accounts department Providing support to sites with invoicing, refunding guests, and responding to finance-related queries Checking and processing invoices and payments for employees and suppliers. Reconciling cash, credit card, and bank accounts Analysing and processing weekly and monthly supplier payments, including issuing remittances Raising invoice queries and monitoring progress with sites Checking supplier statements, requesting and processing missing invoices Working with various spreadsheets including weekly sales, pay-outs, banked funds, aged creditors' reports, and service charge reports About you Self-motivated, keen to learn Experience of working in a similar role within an Accounts department (minimum 1 year) Experience using accounting software (essential) Competent using Excel and working with financial spreadsheets A good communicator who can talk to colleagues and suppliers in a friendly and confident way Organised and able to work quickly with minimal supervision AAT qualified to Level 3 (preferred but not essential) About Us At Fazenda, we are proud to offer an authentic Churrasco Experience, from the Pampas of Southern Brazil to the UK.
