Production Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a Production Manager to join our Sterile Services department in Tiverton.

The role includes:
* Managing the HSSU Production Area to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer requirements.
* Motivating and supervising the HSSU team, organizing scheduling and rotas, and conducting Performance Development Reviews.
* Liaising with various staff including Unit & Production Managers, Operational Support Managers, Departmental Engineers, and the Compliance/Quality Manager, as well as Theatre Teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Modeling and fostering best practices, training, and development within the production areas and clean room, including knowledge of machinery and IT systems.

Key requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in a recognized sterile services production unit, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
* In-depth knowledge of decontamination procedures and Traceability Systems.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
Preferred qualifications:
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Audit Processes.
* Experience in Endoscopy Processing services.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT skills.
