We are looking to
appoint Nursery Education Officers to join our dedicated nursery team to improve the outcomes for children in Hackney. Your role will be to help us achieve a safe, healthy and stimulating environment where activities enable children to grow and develop in line with outstanding practice standards. As an excellent communicator, you will need to be enthusiastic and committed to delivering high standards.
These are ideal positions for someone looking to be an integral part of an Outstanding nursery providing an exceptional service to a diverse community. Significant professional experience of working within a culturally diverse educational childcare environment is essential. You must have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and possess a skilled knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, understanding what that looks like in practice. The centre also has Forest School attached to the centre and there will be opportunities for you to access accredited training to enable you to lead and deliver Forest School sessions.
An NVQ3 qualification in childcare learning & development or equivalent is essential for this role. You will be required to work flexible hours as the centres operates a shift system. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide proof of this essential requirement. If you are unable to provide this, unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with your application.
