We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Driver to join our client's team based in Croydon.
The rate of pay is £32,754 per annum.
This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4:30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Driver you will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to their customers, while representing our company to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a vehicle to deliver goods across regional routes
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining compliance with health & safety and driving regulations
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the following:
- Valid UK Category C1 ( driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions)
- Physically fit - some manual handling will be required
- Good communication and time management skills
- Previous driving experience essential
- Knowledge of the local area
