DAIU are seeking a motivated PIP 2 Investigator to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex and sensitive investigations, working closely with victims and partner agencies to deliver high quality, victim‑focused outcomes.
It is essential that you have effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide audience along with proven analytical and decision‑making skills. You will also be self‑motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
Capability to travel across the Force is required to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
Qualified PIP 2 and domestic abuse experience is preferred, but PIP 1 staff will also be considered.
