Head of People - Ecommerce | £90K – £110k | London | Hybrid
A founder-backed, fast-scaling ecommerce business is looking for a commercially sharp Head of People to help shape the organisation through its next significant phase of growth.
This is a proper seat at the table. Reporting to the MD, you'll be a trusted voice in the SLT, leading a small People team while being genuinely hands-on. The business has strong People foundations already - a solid HRIS, active L&D, a goals and accountability framework, and low ER noise. What it needs now is someone to challenge the thinking, evolve the culture, and redesign the organisation to scale effectively.
The priorities for the role are clear: organisational design and workforce planning to get the business into the right shape; cultural development that protects what's been built while pushing people to be bolder and move faster; and developing the next layer of leadership capability.
You'll also mentor and develop a talented People Advisor, and you'll be working in a brilliant team environment with strong culture.
Successful candidates will have senior People leadership experience in SME (under x200 headcount), ecommerce, retail or a similarly fast-paced commercial environment, a track record in scaling businesses, and the confidence to challenge as well as support. Hands-on and strategic in equal measure.
