Behind every seamless wedding or special event, there’s someone who’s quietly making sure nothing is left to chance. At The Grand Hotel Birmingham, that someone is our Weddings & Special Events Co‑ordinator – guiding guests from their first enquiry through to final details meetings and a clear, confident handover to our Operations team, who then run the event on the day. It’s a role built on clarity, organisation and great communication – the things that make the planning journey feel effortless for our guests.

About you
* Experience in a wedding or events coordination role, ideally in a hotel or venue environment.
* Warm, confident communication skills — with guests, colleagues and suppliers.
* Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm when timelines tighten.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to build fast, positive rapport.
* A genuine passion for delivering thoughtful, high‑quality, memorable guest experiences.
