As a Home Delivery Driver working in one of our standalone stores, you’ll provide an industry leading fast-track service that brings Argos products to customers' doors
Responsibilities:
* Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to our customers doorsteps, on-time and in great condition
* Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions
* Serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and keeping them aware of any delays
* Confident in learning to use new technology to do your job brilliantly, comfortable driving a large vehicle in different locations from residential streets to country lanes
* When not on the road, you’ll help maintain a slick operation in the stock room or on the shop floor
* Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
Qualifications:
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
* Ability to work a variety of shifts across the week and three shift blocks during the day: Monday to Sunday 5:00am - 1:00pm, 1:00pm - 6:00pm, 6:00pm - 10:30pm
