About the role….
We require a Mobile Catering Unit Manager who has the skills, drive, and passion to lead various catering teams and deliver the highest quality food and service. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our enthusiastic and hardworking team as a Mobile Catering Manager
You will cater for between 100 and 300 pupils each day, offering a choice mid-day two course meal. You must also be able to adapt to various kitchens across the Gateshead Borough.
The successful candidate will stand in to manage the school catering team as required, to ensure the delivery of a safe, healthy and high-quality catering service to the school, which is within budget and to customer satisfaction. This will include all aspects of food preparation, cooking and food service, kitchen and dining area hygiene and other duties associated with food service operations; as well as providing a supportive environment for the ongoing development of existing staff. You will lead and inspire teams of catering assistants working various hours.

You’ll be paid a competitive salary £25,992 to £27,269 pro rata.
