We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient individual to play a pivotal role within the management team. We are looking for an experienced Leader who can provide guidance, support and supervision to a team of secretarial, administration and clerical staff within Planned Care Directorate. You will be responsible for the day to day smooth operations of services, ensuring appropriate planning, coaching and mentoring and performance management of over 100 Secretarial and Admin staff.
You should have previous admin / secretarial and supervisory experience, and possess excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills. You should be familiar with NHS Waiting Times, and have knowledge of HR policies and Procedures, including absence management.
In addition, you should possess leadership skills necessary to develop teams, being assertive, whilst exercising diplomacy. You should be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, and be flexible in your approach. You should be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team. An ability to travel between sites is essential. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.
