Account Manager – Harvey Nash at Harvey Nash Group
Harvey Nash is recruiting for a Payroll Specialist, a six‑month contract that will start in January 2026.
Location: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom (hybrid working to an office in Glasgow).
Scheduling and Work Environment
* Inside IR35/umbrella
* Hybrid working – office in Glasgow
Responsibilities
* Process both weekly and monthly payrolls in a timely manner.
* Accountable for annual payroll system updates.
* Liaise with vendors on SAP support covering payroll system issues and enhancements.
* Check payroll work produced and ensure accuracy.
* Ensure timely transmission of payroll documentation to enable the payment of wages.
* Create and amend work schedules for configuration.
* Produce payslips.
* Process third‑party payrolls accurately and in a timely manner.
* Ensure all deadlines for completion of work are met.
* Input/retrieval of data in SAP HR (Payroll) records, including payroll calculations.
* Process weekly, monthly and pension payrolls.
* Reconcile payroll results and pay amounts due to Inland Revenue, Pension Funds, Court Orders, CSA, etc.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
* Proficient in SAP payroll and MS Office.
* Experience with time‑recording systems and shift evaluations.
* CIPP qualification is a plus.
* Must have strong experience of UK payroll.
* Experience with payroll overseas locations such as Europe is highly regarded.
* Experience of mapping processes and offering continuous improvement.
