Job Overview
We seek a skilled Technical Operations Lead for our Cybersecurity Investigations team. This role manages technical operations, ensuring the security and integrity of digital assets through proactive and reactive cybersecurity measures. The candidate will lead a team, collaborate with global leads and client partners, and support UK-based operations remotely with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop cybersecurity professionals, fostering a high-performance team environment.
* Design and implement training programs, conduct quality assurance, and identify skill gaps.
* Oversee daily cybersecurity investigations and ensure compliance with client security protocols.
* Manage incident response and forensic investigations, suggest process improvements.
* Coordinate global initiatives, process development, change management, and reporting.
* Stay updated on investigation techniques and ensure team skill adequacy.
* Serve as technical liaison with clients and internal teams, prepare reports and presentations.
* Monitor scheduling, attendance, and compliance with applicable laws.
* Address performance and morale issues with management and HR support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
* Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
* At least 10 years of cybersecurity operations experience.
* Minimum 5 years in active investigation roles within an enterprise environment.
* Leadership experience managing technical teams.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, IAM).
* Proficiency with cybersecurity tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud tech).
* Understanding of access control, cloud security, data retention, and encryption.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and investigative skills.
* Experience presenting to clients and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Preferred: active participation in cybersecurity communities, programming knowledge, forensic investigation experience.
