The role:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow sales across existing and new accounts. Working closely with internal technical and engineering teams, you will take a consultative approach to supporting customers with the right product solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and developing relationships with key customers across industrial and commercial markets
* Identifying opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts and new prospects
* Promoting a portfolio of technical products and components across a range of applications
* Providing consultative support to customers to understand their technical requirements
* Working closely with internal engineering, product and operations teams to deliver solutions
* Monitoring market trends and identifying new opportunities within target sectors
* Supporting customers through the full sales cycle from enquiry through to delivery
About you:
We are keen to speak with Sales Account Managers / sales professionals who have experience selling technical or engineered products into industrial or commercial markets.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A background as a Sales Account Manager or similar in a technical capacity
* Experience selling into industrial, retail, engineering or OEM customers
* Strong relationship management and account development skills
* A consultative and solutions-focused sales approach
* The ability to understand and communicate technical product benefits
