Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. The role involves developing mechatronic systems to improve aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize technical solutions, contributing significantly to our competitiveness and innovation in motorsports.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications to meet product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Coordinate with external suppliers for component selection and evaluation.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability.
* Manage the delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, and software integration.
* Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in related fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, and aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
