Overview
We’re looking for a Business Manager to join our sparkling Manchester team located in Harvey Nichols. This role will report into the Regional Manager and be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of our Manchester counter. A Trinny London Artist is the true heart of where everything happens – you’ll embody our mission of giving customers the tools they need to be their best every day using our curated makeup and award‑winning skincare.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead your team from the front by:
o Achieving your own targets
o Improving product knowledge and staying up to date with beauty trends
o Conducting appointments and elevating your artistry
o Always demonstrating a customer‑centric approach
* Manage the daily, monthly and quarterly running of your counter, creating business plans to ensure success and smooth operation.
* Complete and distribute rotas, log payroll, sickness, holidays, 1‑2‑1 notes, ROCs and RTW checks in our HR system.
* Oversee inventory checks, stock counts and visual merchandising.
* Accurately follow health and safety procedures.
* Use retail management and team meetings to provide feedback on counter performance.
* Ensure the team and counter meet business objectives, targets and KPIs, addressing underperformance and seeking support where needed.
* Motivate the team to continually improve artistry, product knowledge and performance, using education and training resources.
* Conduct weekly 1‑2‑1s and monthly reviews, championing the team’s ambitions to progress.
* Independently address performance, attendance or conduct issues in line with Trinny London expectations, using appropriate procedures and support, and escalating when necessary.
Requirements
* Experience leading a team, ideally within the luxury sector.
* Passion for makeup and skincare.
* Proven track record of leading a retail team to success.
* Adaptable and confident in an ever‑changing environmentli>
* Positive, can‑do attitude.
* Strong communication and mathematical skills.
* Comfortable working towards and exceeding KPIs.
* Punctual and organised.
