Reports to:Technical Director
About the Company- The worlds largest provider of engineered noise control products and solutions spanning over 70 years
Job Purpose:To provide Engineering support to Project Management and Engineering activities across the business
Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. To carry out general Project Engineering activities in support of Project Management and Engineering activities, from Surveys, Design Engineering through installation and commissioning.
2. To support and manage Engineering activites through product development, testing and R&D.
3. Create engineering specifications for project requirements and presenting design reviews and progress summaries.
4. Liasing with suppliers and manufacturers to fulfil the technical specifications for projects, overseeing and managing supply from quotation through delivery and installation.
5. Hands on support to the In Service Support (ISS) of facilities, including routine maintenance and calibration activities, fault investigations and remedial works.
6. Writing engineering reports to document site activities and rectification works completed.

* Technical understanding & awareness
* Has an understanding of customer satisfaction and commercial needs
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally & written
* Displays a positive and innovative approach to problem solving and is able to justifying decisions made.
* Full Driving License - Clean
* Must have the rights to work in the UK
* Must be a UK Resident
* Full Time Office based Role with some travel to site.
Desirable:
* Engineering HNC or similar
* Recognised construction safety experience and/or qualification
* Mechanical and Electrical understanding and knowledge – low voltage signals and instrumentation
* Insturmentation Calibration experience
* Project Management experience/ Awareness of requirements
* Gas Turbine Engine knowledge
In addition to the duties listed, the jobholder is required to perform other reasonable duties (within the jobholders capabilities) assigned by line management
Working Hours: - Monday to Thursday - 8-30am to 5-15pm and Fridays - finish at 1pm.
Holiday - 25 Days plus bank holidays included.
After 5 years of service an extra 5 days holiday are rewarded
