Job Title: Senior Architect – Aviation Projects
Location: London / Hybrid

Join a Leading Multi-Disciplinary Design Team Driving Innovation in the Aviation Sector
We’re working with a highly respected design consultancy who are on the lookout for a Senior Architect with strong aviation sector experience. This is a unique opportunity to step into a lead role where you’ll manage design delivery on major UK aviation projects and shape the built environment in one of the most complex and regulated sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading multi-disciplinary project teams from RIBA Stage 0 to 7
* Managing internal teams (Architects, Technologists, Early Careers talent) and coordinating with external stakeholders
* Producing high-quality architectural designs, technical details and specifications
* Acting as a key client liaison, balancing design innovation with compliance and feasibility
* Contributing to fee proposals, project planning, and overall design strategy
* Supporting junior staff development and promoting a collaborative, high-performing team culture
What You’ll Bring:
* ARB-registered Architect (RIBA preferred)
* Solid background delivering large-scale aviation projects (ideally Heathrow and/or Gatwick standards)
* Advanced Revit skills (Autodesk Revit 3D proficiency required)
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regs, British Standards and CDM regulations
* Confident communicator, both in presentations and cross-discipline collaboration
* Experience with NBS Chorus specification writing
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience managing diverse teams from graduate to senior level
* Commercial awareness and understanding of project financials
* Experience working with external design consultants
