HGV Class 2 Driver – Crawley
£18.00 per hour | Flexible Work | Immediate Starts
Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work from our client’s Horsham depot, collecting waste from residential homes and businesses, whilst being accompanied by two loaders.
The Role
1. Collecting waste from residential homes and businesses
2. Working as part of a 3 man crew, driving on a domestic or trade route
3. Start times between 0530 – Finish
4. Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
5. Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
6. Assisting with loading when required
About You
7. At least 6 months of HGV 2 experience
8. CPC and Digital Tachograph card
9. No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
10. Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
11. PPE required: Hi-Vis, Double Strapped Hi-Vis Trousers and Safety Boots
12. Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
13. Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures

14. Horsham (drivers must live within 15 miles)
Pay & Benefits
15. £18.00 per hour (Umbrella rate).
16. Take home pay for 42h circa £575pw (depending on tax allowance)
17. Triple pay on bank holidays
18. Ongoing work and Temp to perm for the right candidate
19. Weekly pay
