The Opportunity
Join Arup as a Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant and make a positive impact on complex projects across energy, water, transport and property sectors. Lead and deliver environmental solutions that improve client outcomes while safeguarding the health of the planet. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design.
* Lead the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.
* Conduct environmental assessments and studies to identify potential impacts and develop mitigation measures.
* Build relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
* Provide expert advice on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
* Monitor and report on the implementation of environmental management plans and compliance with EIA conditions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
* Full membership of an appropriate institute (e.g., IEMA or equivalent) or willingness to register.
* Professional experience in environmental consulting.
* Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects across various sectors.
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
