An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic specialist Clarinet peripatetic instrumental teacher to join our busy and successful Music department. The music facilities and resources are outstanding and we are strongly committed to this vital part of school life. Including the Director of Music, the department currently comprises 2 classroom Music teachers, a Technician, an Administrator and 12 peripatetic instrumental teachers. We are looking to appoint a peripatetic Clarinet Teacher who can teach up to and beyond Grade 8 standard. We currently have 7 students who have weekly individual half-hour lessons. Ideally, candidates should have experience in delivering one-to-one lessons to students of different ages and abilities, including being comfortable with teaching beginners. A willingness to run a recorder ensemble and contribute to the active musical life of the school would be welcomed.
