Home Care Assistant - Responsibilities: Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Prepare and assist with meal feeding as required. Support clients with mobility and transfers, using manual handling equipment when necessary. Administer medication according to care plans and medication policies. Observe and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the care manager or healthcare professionals. Engage clients in social activities and outings as specified in their care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care services provided, including daily logs and medication records. Collaborate with the care team to ensure clients receive high-quality care. Comply with health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and colleagues. Home Care Assistant - Requirements: Experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training to the "Care Certificate" level will be provided. A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to support and care for others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative when necessary. Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively. Willingness to participate in further training and development as needed.
