Overview
Hays Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a well-established firm in Lowestoft to recruit a part-qualified ACCA/ACA or AAT accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within practice, with clear progression towards managing your own client portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients
* Personal and business tax compliance
* Supporting clients with day-to-day financial matters
* Working extensively with Excel, Xero and QuickBooks
* Assisting in building strong, long-term client relationships
About you
You may be AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience, with previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Experience in accounts production and taxation
* Strong working knowledge of Excel, Xero and/or QuickBooks
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* A proactive approach and desire to develop professionally
* A genuine interest in building a long-term career within practice
