Position: Maintenance Team Lead
Location: Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire, United Kingdom

Shift Pattern
* 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am (Rotating every 2 weeks between days and nights)
Key Responsibilities
* Managing maintenance and PPM schedules utilizing a CMMS, aiming for over 90% utilisation across the facility.
* Attend meetings with the onsite customer and key stakeholders, and communicate clearly and effectively within the organization and with the customer.
* Chair daily meetings to allocate maintenance tasks in line with the team size per shift.
* Coordinate a team of engineers for allocation of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
* Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly tasks, basic field wiring, equipment calibration, and system testing when required.
* Complete reactive repairs within set timeframes to minimise downtime.
* Conduct servicing and repairs of installed products, taking hands‑on ownership to achieve swift resolutions.
* Interpret electrical schematics and work confidently with 415 V motor controls.
* Prioritise health and safety by conducting thorough risk assessments.
* Demonstrate strong mechanical skills, including the ability to read and follow assembly drawings.
* Follow setup instructions, assembly guides and checklists with precision.
* Display exceptional attention to detail and follow‑up capabilities.
* Understand and work with control systems.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualification at NVQ/BTEC/ONC/C&G Level 3 in Electro‑Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Familiarity with Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and technologies.
* Knowledge of PLC systems and their functionality.
* Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage.
* Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience using CMMS systems and managing engineering inventory.
* A qualification equivalent to HNC/HND is preferred but not essential.
* Mechanical aptitude – ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment using technical diagrams.
* Familiarity with 415 V motor controls and understanding of PLC systems.
* Awareness of health and safety standards, including conducting risk assessments.
* Customer‑oriented approach with effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Willingness to learn, adapt and participate in training programmes, including potential travel within Europe.
