Position: Electronic Assembler Location: Bedford Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Bedford. The client manufacture automated inspection tools for service companies and operate mainly within the Energy, Industrial and Utilities Market Sectors for Oil and Gas, Wind Energy, Ship Care and Utilities Industries Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Electronic Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work. You will be responsible for: Assemble components and sub-systems Soldering, Wiring, Crimping, and mounting of PCB's Inspect, test and calibrate Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures Keep thorough records of production processes and assist in inventory management Experience/Qualifications: Technical diploma or equivalent At least 3 years proven experience as an electronics assembler or equivalent Familiarity with electronic components, assembly tools and techniques and test equipment (oscilloscopes etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematic diagrams Strong communication and teamwork Legal Right to live and work in the UK Nice to have: Experience in keeping thorough records of production processes Inventory management IPC Certification Fault finding If you are interested in this position, please apply with a copy of your CV & a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity with you in further detail.
