Job Description
I am partnering exclusively with a high-tech manufacturing business in Cambridge as they look to hire a new Management Accountant.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative organisation operating at the cutting edge of its sector. Working closely with both the Financial Controller and Managing Director, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful financial insight that drives performance across the business. Key Duties
* Preparation of weekly and monthly accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
* Supporting rolling forecasts and explaining variances against targets
* Month-end journals and balance sheet review and reconciliation
* Working capital reporting and short-term cash flow forecasting
* Strengthening financial controls and identifying process improvements
* Business partnering with operational teams to improve performance
* Liaising with group functions and external auditors where required
Key Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
* A naturally inquisitive mindset – to understand the how and why behind the process
* Strong month-end and reporting experience
* Forecasting and variance analysis skills
* Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
* Confident communicator able to work with non-finance stakeholders
