Overview
A vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Assistant with a bias for Mechanical work has arisen within the Estates Maintenance Department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is based at Hull Royal Infirmary but the applicant may be required to work at all Trust properties and must hold a full driving license to undertake driving duties.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out basic repairs and planned maintenance tasks throughout the Hospital and other premises.
* Participate on a partial shift system rota and provide sickness and annual leave cover for the various sections and stores duties.
* Demonstrate experience of maintenance activities including Portable Electrical Appliance Testing and/or Steam Boiler operation and maintenance.
Qualifications and Training
* Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Ability to demonstrate experience of maintenance activities including Portable Electrical Appliance Testing and/or Steam Boiler operation and maintenance.
