2-3 months contract with a Local Authority Job Summary: • Temporary cleaning role providing holiday cover, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various sites. Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample): • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal. • Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, offices, and facilities to a high standard. • Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the relevant team promptly. • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure cleaning schedules are met. Skills/Experience: • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential. • Ability to work independently and follow instructions. • Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. • Basic knowledge of health and safety related to cleaning tasks. • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to cover holiday periods. Additional Information: • Full time role: 35 Hr/week / Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
