Overview
Castle Manufacturing is working with a well-established manufacturer in North Yorkshire to recruit a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to play a key role in ensuring customers receive a high-quality product in line with process and product specification.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the department has appropriate risk and COSHH assessments in place
* Effectively communicate daily, weekly and monthly objectives to the team and maximise performance
* Proactively measure performance of department against KPI’s
* Ensure team members are competent to perform all tasks asked of them and conduct annual performance development reviews with them
* Manage the team members ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to
Who we\'re looking for
* Experience in a process driven production environment
* Experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
* Must be a team player
* Good data analysis and decision making skills
