Assistant Site Manager

Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025
Pay: £240 – £250 per day

ARC Group are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a project in Aylesbury, overseeing the construction of commercial and retail units. This role is initially holiday cover for a couple of weeks, however there is potential for further work on upcoming projects with the same contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Site Manager with daily site operations
* Supervise trades and subcontractors on site
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times
* Support programme delivery to ensure deadlines are met
* Maintain quality and site standards throughout the build
* Liaise with project team and subcontractors effectively

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager role (or similar)
* Background in managing the cladding, roofing and steel erection element of previous projects, would be advantageous due to stage of build.
* Good knowledge of commercial build projects
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
* CSCS card
* First Aid at Work
