Chef de Partie - We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef to join our culinary team at The Falcon in Rotherwick.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a chef de partie you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment - Chef de Partie
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required -Chef de Partie
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a chef de partie or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and methods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
