Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £24,674 - £26,574
Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor on behalf of a leading manufacturing business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer relationships, processing sales orders, and ensuring that all client requirements are met efficiently and professionally.
This position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, making it ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

* Working Week: 36.5 hours (Mon – Thur: 07:30 am to 4:00 pm & Fri: 07:30 am to 12pm)
* Annual paid holiday entitlement is 20 days plus 8 bank holidays. This entitlement increases by one day for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
* After successful probation period ( 6 months) - entitled to 4 weeks Company sick pay
* Christmas shut down (need to save a few days of annual leave for this purpose)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
* Manage and track your own customer accounts, providing full administrative and service support.
* Process and administer all sales orders and amendments, ensuring all departments are kept informed.
* Enter orders accurately and promptly, liaising with Sales Management where necessary.
* Provide customers with regular order book reports, including delivery and material updates.
* Confirm orders and amendments with customers, ensuring correct pricing and delivery information.
* Negotiate delivery dates when needed to meet both customer and production schedules.
* Work closely with Planning and Operations teams to ensure the sales order backlog is accurate and up to date.
* Process new customer quotations and prepare costed Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Maintain CRM systems with accurate information on prospects, quotations, and opportunities.
* Provide quarterly updates to customers regarding excess materials and maintain related records.
* Support the invoicing process, including raising invoices for RMAs and tooling services.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Previous experience in a Customer Service Advisor, Customer Support, or Sales Coordination role.
Desirable:
* Experience within the manufacturing or electronics industry is essential
