About the Role : Development Trimmer
As a Development Trimmer, youll play a crucial role in shaping custom interior trim for one:of:a:kind automotive builds. Working with premium materials such as leather, youll combine traditional craftsmanship, pattern making and machine sewing with modern techniques to deliver exceptional quality : where every stitch matters .
Your Work Will Include
* Developing custom interior trim for unique vehicle builds
* Pattern creation, development and precision cutting of high:end materials
* Machine sewing and hand stitching (e.g., baseball, euro stitch)
* Trimming components including headliners, steering wheels, panels, and seating
* Logging issues and collaborating with the wider team to improve processes
What Were Looking For
* Previous experience as a Development Trimmer in automotive or high:end upholstery
* Confidence with pattern making, machine sewing, and hand stitching
* A perfectionists mindset : quality always comes before speed
Details
* Location: Daventry
* Pay: A GBP 30 per hour (Umbrella PAYE) : negotiable
* Hours: Mon:Thu 7:00:16:30, Fri 7:00:12:45 + optional weekday and Saturday overtime
* Contract Type: Ongoing contract (inside IR35, paid via Umbrella PAYE)
