Hospital Director – Greater Manchester
We are working with a leading private healthcare provider to appoint a Hospital Director to take full responsibility for the leadership, operational performance, and regulatory compliance of one of their specialist mental health hospitals in the Greater Manchester area.
* Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours per week)
* Salary: £90,000 + benefits

The Hospital
The site provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for a wide range of adult mental health conditions, as well as addiction rehabilitation programmes. Current capacity is around 40+ inpatient beds with expansion plans already underway. Alongside inpatient services, the hospital delivers evidence-based outpatient treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and more, plus private autism assessments for adults.
The Role
As Hospital Director, you will:
* Lead the Senior Management Team and set the tone for clinical, operational, and cultural excellence.
* Take full accountability for the financial and operational performance of the hospital, including cost control, budgeting, and compliance.
* Act as the Registered Manager, ensuring services meet all legal, regulatory, and governance standards.
* Chair key governance and advisory meetings, working closely with clinical leaders.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the quality of patient care.
* Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff engagement strategies in collaboration with HR.
