Overview
Technical Client Support – Paraplanner at a respected financial planning firm in Fareham. Location: Fareham (On-site or Remote – not hybrid). Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE). Employment Type: Full-time.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a highly technical, client-facing role where you’ll be involved in every stage of the advice process. Your responsibilities will include:
* Client Meetings: Sitting in on client meetings alongside the adviser to understand objectives and provide technical input.
* Technical Analysis: Performing complex calculations, research, and cashflow modelling at Level 4/6 expertise.
* Report Writing: Producing detailed suitability reports in-house (with some reports outsourced to chartered paraplanners).
* Research & Planning: Conducting in-depth product and provider research, supporting the adviser with technical recommendations.
You’ll be the adviser’s right-hand person for technical work, ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and tailored advice.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
* Experience: Strong paraplanning background with exposure to complex technical work.
* Skills: Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
* Mindset: A proactive, client-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively with advisers.
Working Arrangements
* Remote or On-site: This role offers flexibility for fully remote or fully on-site working.
* No Hybrid: The firm does not currently offer hybrid arrangements.
